ODD FUTURE is a collective that could evoke a kind of Pistols in the 2010s, hip hop version. Punk basically. Yucky. Dirty. Clip of the beat. The guys from this group (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, or OFWGKTA) are currently conducting a coup almost faultless musical. This summer, with the clip of the younger Earl Sweatshirt (16 years) they had raised some questions as to what generally required by these young people seriously while questioning the veracity of what was shown on the screen (a strange cocktail effects bloody). Some believed, or hoped, would become an artist qu'Aronofsky fallen and no future after the failure of both critical and commercial The Fountain in 2006. The film, which should see Aronofsky push aesthetic and logical screenplay already proven in Pi and Requiem For A Dream to their limits, and certainly beyond their inherent limitations, was lynched, more or less precisely, by a whole section of specialists seeing a chance to get a talent and buried a career.

What they certainly did not foresee, is the force of renewal has been able to provide the American director. It proved capable of turning his back on his ultra polished aesthetic, under certain habits (to adopt others), to a certain visual overkill that stifled perhaps the dramatic force of his previous album.

Thus, The Wrestler was a shock for fans of Aronofsky. Soaked in culture (film) rocked by the European and American independent cinema, swaying between Cassavetes and the naturalism of Dardenne film, which also sees the resurrection of Mickey Rourke quality, marks a milestone in the filmmaker's aesthetic philosophy.

Black Swan is a direct continuation of this previous work and takes even a few basic elements. It follows by the lapse of a being (physical The Wrestler , psychological Black Swan) which saw the peaks in disregard of his health, his life and others. Black Swan is the story of a dancer who, in the twilight of his career is finally offering the lead role of a ballet. But this role, demanding, difficult and not without further efforts. There was talk of the lost first EP in these pages, and it is clear that it was much more striking than the last EP enduser. Forget everything you learned about dubstep. Imagine the last meeting of the High Tone (Monster) with the intelligence of the In Sect Level Zero and the blow side of the dancefloor Music for the jilted generation of .... Prodigy (as it did long for my taste that we had not mentioned the common obsession). Prototype does not offer anything new in itself, if it is a collection of songs already on the previous vinyl outings. Since The Lost, a collection of all the most acclaimed live as each other, a collection of dance floor that implode, a collection of brains Cram, and a nice list of names with which the two collaborated gas for such a short career: Bong Ra, Hecq, Black Lung. For those who are already convinced at that stage, Prototype is somehow the sole purpose''of the''ultimate combo, which recompiles everything that exists in physical format yet. Forget the singles and other rarities for rat dusty shops, this one is fine. For others who still wipes the dubstep label, which prevents them from asking an ear without a trial, no attempt to convert them, because the pieces will easily during these ten nuggets. The poster is even more enticing, with the duo Binary, author one of the best recent discs and Nicolas Dick, their old pal Kill the Thrill, who was working on a few pieces of Idol.
Binary continuous music in the vein of Idol, with the rock / punk Mongoloid chopped and cut with a machete. Approach was a beautiful clear-building project. Visions between modern and neoclassical structures over the disc dissected a tribal electronic and full of beauty. Today is a double challenge which surrounds the new release. First, a challenge for Ad Noiseam, which grows more and more in the diversity of its output to get away from the dubstep label already expired. After a Level Zero more effective, a Black Lung completely addictive and a final Igorr already acclaimed everywhere, it's the turn of Subheim to be part of the renewal of the structure. It is also a challenge for the group itself, which fully renews aesthetics. No Land Called Home puts aside inclinations synthetic a much more humane to his music. And the sounds of keyboards, effects, distortions, too. The fact that music is more about building progressive and electronic equipment are therefore, in contrast to a dynamic rock, a kind of redundancy can also tire the listener. Yet the album from sounding tacky, noisy swamp and daring spatial and floats over the strange decision. Seefeel's music is surprisingly more concrete than succor, is go from a beginning to an end, has a goal. The disc appears to be a journey, with its pauses and intrusions of abstraction loud and long rhythmic epics. A partition long and segmented into chunks. First there was a look, penetrating an unfathomable sadness. I discovered on the cover of the book by Claude Lucas, Suerte , published in the Terre Humaine, Plon, 1995. This stranger joined Claude Levi-Strauss, Robert Jaulin, James Agee, John Duvignaud, all identified by Malaurie. Ethnologists, backpackers, adventurers, writers. Suerte and its sub-title, written in red letters, it snapped like a challenge: Exclusion voluntary.

A quote from Emmanuel Levinas, placed emphasis, immediately put the bar very high, near "human nudity ... who shouts to the world's strangeness, loneliness, death, hidden in his being" . It was enough to start reading to not release this extraordinary book, between fiction and testimony, and persuade themselves that would remember forever. He crushed the literature of the most unlucky, complacent and early, with some exceptions (such as the poignant story of Alain Dubrieu, The Desert Iguana , reprinted in "The Black "by Gallimard).

Lucas had committed a robbery with hostage taking in 1987. Arrested in Spain, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for "carrying weapons". He spent six in English prisons harsh. Extradited to France in 1994 after two years of trial, he shall be sentenced to twelve years imprisonment. His six years in prison in Spain were not taken into account. A support committee, when he was locked up in prison in Caen, sent a letter to the president by seeking a pardon. The appeal was signed by publishers, booksellers, priests, artists, librarians and writers. Jacques Lanzmann, Alphonse Boudard, Paul Ricoeur, Germaine Tillion, Jean-Pierre Vernant, and many others, recognized the word of a new man. On Suerte he had retaken all his life, his skin.

Lucas published two short novels by Flammarion in 1998 Trail flowers followed Desert. The city of Caen, to award him his prize, had left his cell for a day! He was finally released and went to live with Helen at Ushant, his wife. At the opening of Suerte he announced what territory, after years of deprivation of liberty, he intended to live, "a parallel universe so similar to another" .

And that's exactly what he did for seven or eight years to produce a novel that is a real book to escape, quite confusing, as its title suggests Breton, Ti Kreiz . His publisher, POL, thinking perhaps (like myself, and I acknowledge my guilt naivete) that the reputation of Suerte enough to awaken Critics played counting absolute: no back cover hype, no biography of the author. We are witnessing the emergence of a unique book whose reception is equal to zero (Bertrand Leclair only saves the honor in Politis -week of May 13 to 19-in indignant silence of death lasts from early February and accompanied his funeral).

Like Bouvard and Pecuchet, Sancho and Don Quixote, Don Juan and Sganarelle, the couple formed by Simon Balard obscure writer, and Andros Laimb, author of thrillers and pulp fiction, the two protagonists are Ti Kreiz machine in motion a romance where comically summarizes the human condition.
