Inner Ear Trouble, No Appetite

Fluid - Duality

First outlet for musician / producer / arranger of Chicago and a big stir. A stir of his own influences, first of all, he brandishes loudly in their diversity. A pad as in aesthetics uncompromising sound, and beautiful nuances. This disc fluid at the artwork that goes well with our banner, but not with our eyes is an obvious industrial dub. The influences are clear: Mick Harris and Scorn, Justin Broadrick for Animal techno and dub versions of Love and Hate in song. Few vocal incursions are placing on this disc, one imagines a sample on Disrupting the ghost, and featuring this very characteristic of Iron Oddatee Communique. Overall instrumentations are sticky and dark, with bass lines on which Dante s'accolent noisy guitar, dark tablecloths or returns doomsday machines to stealth (the absent present). Alternative fluid lulls welcome on many dark passages and chants of sizzling machines while emphasizing cleanliness and rhythmic insistence: swaying bass lines and drum programming iteratively. Some escapes melodic keyboard lines or allow to air the amount of swampy sounds (sublimation In The zero hour) and make it even more sickly. Fluid arrives to channel the mood of suffocating period Tricky Angels With Dirty Faces while reciting litanies industrial dub the confluence of hip hop version 3.0 of absence. We wish him a tour with Dälek, why not Picore and some cool collaborations that make it even more unique and indispensable. (Alrealon, www.myspace.com / fluidemusique )
